I would like to tell you,

that I always want to be yours and I never ever want to leave you.

So during our next encounter

I want to be wrapped in your arms and surrounded by your warmth.

When I talk to you, I feel like I’m a feather floating in the breeze, like a mother seeing her newborn baby, like a child on Christmas morning.

So I dedicated this poem to you,

my dear friend,

in hope that you feel the same about me.

Just seeing you everyday brings joy into my heart,

When you talk to me,

my heart starts racing,

and I feel like I’m going to faint.

Your smile is soft and gentle,

your eyes a beautiful hazel,

and your long, dirty blonde hair hangs gracefully over your eyebrows.

Your personality is like colorful flowers,

swiftly swaying in the spring breeze.

Your voice is like music,

flowing steadily through the air.

You love me like no one else does-

like no one else ever has.

When I am at home,

and I see your name lighting up the screen on my phone,

I get butterflies in my stomache.

When you are not with me,

I feel like there’s a gap in my heart that can only be filled with your presence.

And even though I am a lot taller than you,

you still manage to love me,

and I love you back.
